Outdoor parking for RVs, boats and trailers

Northern Illinois driveways were not built for a fifth wheel, and plenty of Manteno HOAs will not have one parked on the street. We keep two outdoor space sizes for exactly that problem.

• Small outdoor space (11 x 24) – most boats on trailers, utility and landscape trailers, pickups and work vans.
• Large outdoor space (12 x 35) – RVs, fifth wheels, larger boats, box trucks and equipment trailers.

The lot is gated and fenced with security lighting, and the drive aisles are wide enough to back a long trailer in without a three-point turn.

Seasonal storage that makes sense here

Most of our parking tenants are seasonal. The boat goes in when the lakes turn over, the RV goes in after the last trip of the fall, and the landscape trailer comes back out in March.

Because everything is month to month, you only pay for the months you actually need. There is no penalty for pulling the boat out in April and bringing it back in October.

Before you park it for the season

• Top off the fuel tank and add stabiliser so condensation cannot form
• Disconnect or trickle-charge the battery
• Drain water lines on an RV before the first freeze
• Cover it – sun does as much damage over a summer as cold does over a winter
• Check your insurance covers the vehicle while it is stored off-site
